Oxine Animal Health (AH) has been tested and proven effective against a variety of bacteria, fungi and viruses, including E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Parvovirus and more. Utilizes chlorine dioxide chemistry to eliminate odors and kill the bacteria that causes them.

What is oxine made of?

OXINE® is a highly refined blend of oxychloro species containing purified sodium chlorite. When activated, chlorine dioxide is produced, greatly enhancing OXINE®’s antimicrobial activity.

How do I make oxine?

To prepare a 100 ppm working solution place 3 1/4 fl oz of Oxine® concentrate into a clean plastic pail or container and add 10 grams (1 Tablespoon) of Bio-Cide Activator Crystals or food grade citric acid of no less than 99% purity. Prepare in a well ventilated area.

Can oxoxine be used to sanitise my tank?

Oxine is perfect for fully sanitising the water in storage tanks that are used to hold dam water, bore water, rainwater, or any water supply that may have contamination. Simply work how much water is in your tank.

What is oxoxine® AH and where is it used?

Oxine® AH is effectively used in waters that are open to the atmosphere and exposed to contamination. There are considerable economic, esthetic and health reasons for keeping these waters in a sanitary condition. With little attention to these reservoirs, significant levels of microorganisms can develop.

What is Oxine sanitizer made of?

Oxine is a chlorine dioxide based product which is recognized as the most potent molecule in rapid elimination of pathogens and the biofilms that protect them. Oxine is proven effective at all phases of production and has been demonstrated to be more effective than other common sanitizers including quats, iodophors and chlorine.

How much oxine do you put in a feed pump?

Feed water should be treated at a rate of 1 fl. oz. of Oxine ® AH concentrate per 30 gallons of water and may be injected or batch loaded. Feed pumps and injectors must be chlorine resistant for best operation.
