- Start by adding the aquarium rocks to the bottom of your jars.
- Secure the end of some jute twine with hot glue to one side of the threaded area of the jar.
- Wrap the twine around the jar a few times.
- Secure with another drop of hot glue on the side.
How do you attach a Mason jar to a wall?
Slip your mason jar into the hose clamp and then tighten it. Hang on a nail on your wall, add water and pretty flowers and you are done!
How do you use a sconce?
Generally, we recommend placing wall sconces near a mirror as task lighting. When installing sconces on either side of the vanity, it’s best to install bathroom sconces between 60”-65” from the floor. The height of the sconce should land just around eye level, preventing unflattering shadows or harsh glares.

What size hose clamp fits a Mason jar?
Just make sure they are big enough to fit around the mouth of your jars. We used wide mouth mason jars and our hose clamps are 2 3/4″ – 3 3/4″ clamps.
