Is humax still trading?
After an association for over the last 11 years, Humax will no longer be making and manufacturing Freesat branded satellite receivers and PVR’s. Humax were a little bit more expensive than the other manufacturers but were by far the most reliable which is why I was happy to recommend them.
Is Humax IPTV the best option for the HDR-FOX T2?
Soon Humax will introduce an Internet TV portal for the HDR-FOX T2, which will bring Sky Player, catch-up TV services and internet radio into your living room. The HDR-FOX T2’s feature list is already first class, but IPTV will make it unbeatable. The rest of the spec is equally impressive.
Is Humax’s twin-tuner PVR any good?
Humax is usually the brand to beat when it comes to free digital TV, so it’ll be interesting to see how its twin-tuner PVR measures up to rival machines from TVonics, Philips/Pace and Sharp. In terms of looks and build quality it measures up very nicely indeed.
What is the difference between Humax and BBC iPlayer?
The BBC iPlayer picture is to a similar standard. The switch to high-definition gives a boost to clarity, and detail, and helps to subdue any onscreen noise. Sonically, the Humax favours a lively, upbeat approach without sounding thin or edgy.
Does the FOX T2 have Sky Player?
When we originally reviewed the Fox T2 back in October 2010, we were promised access to Sky’s Sky Player streaming service, but at the time of writing we’re disappointed to report this is still absent. The 500GB hard drive accommodates around 300 hours of standard-definition programming and in the region of 125 hours of HD.
